Food Allergy: How do you know that you have it?The symptoms vary from person to person. Some suffer mild and for short period while a few have long lasting reactions as well as strong reactions. There are also a very few rare cases where people die due to these allergies becoming out of control. The most general and common symptoms are irritation in mouth and skin, swelling of face, throat or lips, nasal congestion, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, abdominal cramps. A serious food allergy might lead to an allergic reaction known as anaphylaxis. The symptoms of this food allergy can be quite threatening and can even lead to death of a person. These serious symptoms include rapid pulses, inflated throat or a lump in the throat which makes it difficult to breathe, a considerable amount of drop in the blood pressure. |
