Why allergic reactions appear in some and don’t affect others?

Several factors can trigger allergic reaction among human beings. The most common reason behind it is exposure of white blood cells towards antigens. This exposure involves highly complicated reactions. After the exposure, white blood cells develop antibodies specific to that antigen. This process is known as sensitization. In the whole process, the responsibility of antibodies is to detect antigens and destroy them. The antibodies created in the process of sensitization, helps in secretion of the hormone mediators. Histamine is one of popular mediators in this regard. This hormone has instant impact on local tissues. As a result, the local tissues exhibit various types of allergic reaction.

There are many case specific allergies too. Magnitude of the allergic reaction depends upon the allergen (carrier of allergic reaction) and the reaction of our immune system towards time. In the initial phase, it is a bit confusing for the person to find out the allergen that has negative impact on body. Over a period of time, both triggers and level of reactions are known by the victim. Along with, there are several foods, vaccines and other vaccines that can cause allergic reactions among people. Injuries, change in temperature, emotional situations and family history are other causes of Allergy.
