What Is Clemastine

The body has chemical histamine that happens daily and Clemastine works as an antihistamine that blocks those effects from happening because it can create allergy symptoms such as: watery eyes, rashes, hives and itching plus many other kinds of allergy symptoms. Clemastine is needed because it can reduce those symptoms and often times can cure them within a few days.

Caution should always be done when a patient is using Clemastine if they are driving, having to operate any kind of heavy or light machinery, and dealing with other kinds of activities that might be considered hazardous. The reason why is because Clemastine might cause side effects such as drowsiness and dizziness so if a patient is doing those activities accidents might happen.

Clemastine side effects include but not limited to:

- headache
- fatigue
- sleepiness
- dry mouth
- enlarged prostate
- dizziness

The doctor should be notified right away when a patient has any of these side effects. When a patient misses a dose they should take Clemastine right when they remember unless if it is close time to the next dose then they should wait and get back on the schedule as they where on before the dose was missed.
