What Is Acrivastine and Pseudoephedrine


Acrivastine is used as an antihistamine that reduces chemical histamine that is found inside the body. The histamine causes a mixture of symptoms such as eyes that are watery, itching, sneezing, plus a runny nose.

Often times Acrivastine is combined with Pseudoephedrine because pseudoephedrine works as a decongestant. It can help the blood vessels because it causes them to shrink nassal passages. Blood vessels that are dilated creates nasal congestion also known as a stuffy nose. The combination between the two medications treats a variety of things such as itchy plus watery eyes, stuffy nose, hives, itching, skin rash or any other kind of allergy symptom that might come plus it also treats the common cold.

Side Effects For Acrivastine and Pseudoephedrine Include but not limited to:

- Having a heartbeat that is uneven or possibly fast and pounding.

- Hallucinations

- easy bruising and bleeding

- body aches

- flu symptoms

- Not urinating as much.

- dizziness

- nausea

- blurred vision

- sleep problems

There might be other side effects that is not included with this list. If anything happens that is really bothersome then the doctor should be notified. A change of treatment might be needed.
